		<description>Hi,
I think when we want to deal with the world, we need to deal with people who live in it and not in a different world. Truphone works from the very first try in the "real world". Gizmo could be great in nice places such as US and/or some parts of Europe but not in the Middle East !!!

Thanks for the hints and thanks to Truphone on Nokia E61i

Regards,
Jamal

		<description>James,
Thanks for your comment. I'm gratified to learn that my experience and my guess based on usage proved correct!

I'll take another look.

Cheers
Stuart

<description>Stuart - thanks for your well written review. It is gratifying to see that all the effort that we put into getting the AMR-NB codec configuration in Truphone is really appreciated. The difference in RTP payload between AMR-NB and the more widely used G.711 codec is about a quarter (AMR-NB consuming around 18-20 kbps worst case versus around 80 kbps for G.711). The end result is that Truphone offers excellent voice quality in situations where others croak!

I take the criticism of the lack of mobile-browser-friendly interface squarely. We have a much stripped down version which will work well with the Nokia browser in the pipeline.
