I’m going to be immediately thwarted in some of my goals for today. I’d wanted to do some “live-blogging” and concurrently try and run a Twitter experiment. I’m going to find that hard to do. There’s no Wi-Fi in the room. As two people doing set up and they simply said no… no WiFi in any of the room. Anyone who has blogged or wanted to use the internet at a conference will understand my frustration.
While twitter can work using SMS it becomes a little more difficult to blog and twitter across two devices in real-time. We’ll see how it goes. I think there a hotspot in the lobby. It’s almost time for me to get a guaranteed solution.
I suspect I’m going to be searching for power / outlets much later in the day.

Not only is it not physically conducive here to blogging, I’ve also been surprised by the lack of any social media in evidence. Where’s the Crowdvine group? The bloggers table? The wiki or discussion board? For a conference themed with 2.0, it sure doesn’t facilitate it!
Kim, Thanks! I had to bite my tongue. I think it is worth a review. You cannot have the theme KM2.0 without addressing this upfront. I think the wrong people are presenting to really take this to a KM2.0 type world. I’d be happy to meet up and discuss.
