Similarly annoying, the new Firefox upgrade just auto-installed a Yahoo toolbar without asking me...I HATE that. I sent them a nastygram asking if they hadn't learned from Facebook Beacon that this kind of stuff is a no-no, and users want the respect of deciding for themselves rather than being hijacked and 'opt-out' focused, searching for the 'remove me' button and taking step by step uninstalls...argh.
