Anthony,

Thanks for the follow-up. I've tried this again, and I've tried more too. When I go to repair account "nothing" happens, the app doesn't respond. I've used this functionality before and never had troubles. Nothing shows in the SIP or the Internet Telephony settings. I have also un installed and reinstalled etc. I'm fairly sure if I reset the phone and reload then it will install; however that means I lose all the other programs etc too and have to add them back.

I'll have to spend some time and put it back to original some time. Maybe it will speed it up too for it has become sluggish.

Hi Stuart,

Sorry to hear that you experienced a problem upgrading to our new client.

It sounds as though the reason you were unable to successfully install Truphone v4.0 is due to some settings still being present on your N95. We suggest you complete the following:

1. Press (and release) the 'On' button and select 'Offline'. If asked to 'Create WLAN connection in offline mode?' select 'No'.
2. Navigate to Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>Internet tel. settings. Delete all 'TruVoip' profiles (Options>Delete).
3. Navigate to Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>SIP settings. Select a profile and Options>Delete, repeat for all profiles.
4. Restart your handset. When asked to 'Continue using phone in offline mode?' select 'No'.

You will then need to reinstall your Truphone settings:

1. Run the Truphone application
2. Select Options>Repair account

The latest existing user installation instructions can be found here http://www.truphone.com/support/how_to.html or you can email support@truphone.com and we'll be happy to offer any further assistance.

Regards,
Truphone support
