My Delicious Notes:  Enjoyed this post and it does what it is meant to do. Makes one think about the future of Market Research. My add, MR research must work from the pocket or be in the pocket to succeed – as in differentiate and provide new insights in the near term future. Plus when the tools, devices, places we use become “capture” aware – then we have a whole lot more data. While the phone captures a lot today even a few minutes looking at smart home data adds richness that before we might have missed even if we had observed all day. Nuances at the level of the second and exact location – impulses that before we couldn’t see.
