Alec Saunders provides updated statistics on Facebook VoIP apps. I’ll glad he is still getting uptake for the Iotum app. What apps like Alec’s need is the capability to add them to a group. It’s unfortunate that Group Admins cannot add group apps.

Radian6 is a new social media tracking tool / service targeted at Advertising and PR professionals. It apparently aggregates information and provides a variety of reporting formats. I’m a believer that every company needs this type of product yesterday.

It would be interesting to see biggest write-downs post purchase. While VC investments don’t always payout I’d be interested in a list of those reflecting the consequences of their excess. Biggest writedowns in the 2 years following purchase? Skype?

Om Malik on Skype’s potential sale to Ebay next year. At least Google may have the engineering talent and the brains to open up Skype. Somehow I think such a marriage should scare me. Do we really want Google handling everything we share?

Via Tris Hussey’s blog. This plugin creates an integration between your WordPress blog and your Twitter account. Pull your tweets into your blog and create new tweets on blog posts and from within WordPress. Not sure I want to do this in this format.
