“If you and I are discussing a photo online, let’s say, then I’d like to know who you are, what groups you belong to and what our relationship is; if not explicitly then implicitly when that knowledge offers clear value to me.”

Martin Geddes reports that Skype is forcing him to change his SkypeIn number! That’s ridiculous. In America it would probably result in a class action suit. What’s the dollar damages? stationary etc. I use SkypeIn for business. Proof that it is risky!

The best part of this post is the final quote ” we don’t want people to read case studies… we want people to build case studies” nothing beats learning by doing. Great facts and figures on learning to create successful facebook apps

Robin Good provides the now classic advice for building conversations. I also like what he says about his own blogging. Keep dreaming up your own stuff and acting on spontaneity. I’m also finding leaving a simple trail of link blogs rewarding too.

Via Lee Bryant. This post leaves me a little cold as a checklist for corporate blogging. As usual it says nothing about listening strategies. There is way too much “control” implied. I may be challenged to say more. Nevertheless a good place to start

Via Ray Sims post http://blog.simslearningconnections.com/?p=206 a great slide share. I like slides 6 and 7.
