As John writes this is not strickly about Citibank it is an illustration of the privacy issues that face us today. It’s a great example of why we really have little trust for these institutions. It’s ridicuous to send in by snail mail stop sharing notices

Geoff Livingston also points to the Pew Report and says we don’t care about privacy rather we don’t want to be surpirsed. I think it is more about who controls the data in the end. You or some organization (s). Where is power? Who has it?

Om Malik provides a useful summary on Ribbit. The space is indeed getting crowed. I don’t see a breakthough idea here… yet.

Great post by Doc. I think one word that is missing is authenticity. Brands work when they and the people behind them are authentic.
