“It will be most interesting to see what the state of human communications looks like in 2015, both inside the firewall of organizations, and outside …” Now this is a question I’d like to work on. KMI2020? Who would like to sponsor it?

Link to site via Jon Husband. I like the “avatar” example for 2010. Avatar’s are already starting to come to communications.

“AT&T will be raising the rate they charge for text messages another $.05 to $.20 per message starting March 30.” Daylight robbery! Be better if we didn’t have to pay for inbound SMS in the US. Forces everyone onto expensive upgrade plans.

Jeff Jarvis provides a sumamry of what went wrong. Perfect example of Twitter, and blogs and their power.

It maybe interesting to just see the new uses for “compacts”; in fact showing others where you are may just make video something more interesting. I’d wouldn’t out of the box assume that the camera on the wrong side is a complete killer. Plus I’d use the

Yet another way to crack that iPhone. Is it just me? It seems there are many many ways to do this now. I don’t think Apple cares anymore. They just have to make it hard enough and that’s enough.

Jon Husband, “It will be most interesting to see what the state of human communications looks like in 2015”. That would be a fund project; let’s extend the time to 2020.

Mathew Ingram writes a counterpoint on the Lacy Zuckerberg interview. Not being there or not seeing the video I have no real idea. What jumps out is the power of social media and PR briefing that perhaps aren’t on message or too controlling.

iPhone’s hardware gives Apple an edge when competing with Sony and Nintendo.

Dave McClure’s view. To think I turned off Twitter and missed this; and still you cannot miss it in the blogosphere. I’d have thought Mark would be an easy interview; as for shy that shouldn’t be an issue.
