  • I'll add it to my blog to test although the post method is not complete enough yet to make it really useful or interesting as it will provide too high a failure rate and I also can't yet subscribe to tags via RSS. There are also too many actions for me to do to fix the exceptions.

    I think David is wrong in thinking that the API comes first. What has to be created is a "conversation" and then a way to further it. For something to be useful that conversation must relate to those that see potential. The API and the interface are just part of a collective creative purpose. So's this bookmark and tag for that matter. The real issue is can you build a community around a platform. If you only want a community that is "developer" centric then so be it just decide what and who you might want to empower. RIght now I'm not sure it is me.

  • The iPod Touch and iPhone together remain the sales success for 2008 and yet what number would you put on 2009? The challenge is to ramp up the growth rate considerably. That's going to be harder and carriers aren't helping.

For my money, this seems correct.
